Uncontested NY Divorce?

My former wife and I have lived apart and co-parented our two kids, sharing custody equally. We are seeking a divorce Together we own the home that she lives in and the kids do half the time. she can't afford to buy me out. the other parts of our finances we feel we can work out. what to do about the house? I don't want to ask her to sell and move. The house works for the family. I rent and I am fine with that for now.
