Any advice for convincing spouse not to delay?

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on convincing the spouse not to delay the inevitable and just agree to an uncontested divorce. We are able to reach an amicable separation agreement on property distribution and custody (not totally there yet but the cooperation has been very good); the only problem is he "holds out hope" that I'm going to change my mind so he doesn't want to become "divorced". I think the most healthy thing is to move on - not hold false hope, dwell in the past, or delay the inevitable. I don't want to put so much pressure on him that he pushes back even harder, but he doesn't want to let himself, or me, move on. Any advice on the best way to talk to him about this is appreciated. Every day we are stuck in the past we are denying the potential of the future.
