Thank you so much for your response. I wasn't as clear as I should have been sorry about that. I live in NY and the last modification was made in January 2010. Generally, when filling out the requisite forms, I have to enter my rent and expenses, student loans etc- I may have been wrong to think that that meant that they would be factored in. Nevertheless, the timing was perfect for my ex since my student loans (for the education which allowed me to get my current job) had not yet gone into repayment (and now default). The forged will I had spoken about earlier was in reference to the house in question- it was contested by her disinherited family- Surrogate's Court records are public records so that was how I was able to access information re: profit. I was involved with her when she had requested the additional ss# (not sure what the reasoning behind it was- maybe identity theft? but cannot say for sure) but I did an intelius check and saw that the ss# is affiliated with her current address (she is using husband #4's last name). Btw, I am also positive she is still using her original social security number (with her first husband's name) as well. Thank you for the pointer on reporting it to the Social Security office- that was fairly obvious, I have no clue why I didn't think of it! Thanks again for your response.
Any idea though if the reduction in income from enlisting would qualify? I know that many judges would believe that it is done purposefully, but in addition to what is going on in the world today, this will also benefit my children and their future re: education, jobs etc. Thanks again!
