M5, I'm with you, I routinely block and unblock numbers on my cell phone -- and I'm in agreement with your suggestion. The OP can block the calls or let them go to voicemail if the children are not with the NCP -- therefore, the OP is available for a genuine emergency.

No way I'd put up with this at all. I might send an email informing the NCP of my intent -- no, I know I would. If the kids want to call the NCP, I'd hand them the phone and say **go for it** There's no valid reason for anyone to be calling 8-9 times per DAY.
