You probably won't get stuck with long-term spousal support. But you may end up paying spousal support for a couple of years. It's all going to depend on the judge. And if she was doing what she is doing now when the two of you married.
My mom got a year of spousal support from her second ex. The marriage was only a year long, if that. And the judge is the one who ordered it. Her ex wasn't uber-wealthy, either.
An attorney in your area will be able to give you a better idea of how the judges in your area will rule in regards to spousal support so you may want to at least consult with one regarding this issue.
