we ALL shared the cost "she was paid for by us" and bm wanted the same thing she wanted a GAL that could read us and our bs - the thing is we didn't have bs - bm is so sure of herself that she wanted us to be seen for what we were and that we had problems so she was all for it - she is incredibly into herself and she does not wrong - she was so sure we had the issues because she is blinded by her own perceived awesomeness. Where did I change my mind exactly - I have said the same thing with elaboration in order to explain to you that it was an agreed upon GAL with the background we ALL wanted only bm was the one who is the one who has issues not us - we all did psychological testing and had interviews over a longer period of time then the norm is for a GAL to be involved and the children were interviewed more then once as well - I know you want to make us out to be the "bad" guys who took bm children from her but we are not - they are also my husbands children who wanted to protect them.

It is not our fault or what have you that the bm lives in her self-absorbed I am right and perfect lala land - she was so sure she would be found "right" and we would be "wrong" because she does no wrong. She got a strong dose of reality and it was not easy peasy from there on out she took absolutely anything and everything to court and she finally was told to stop wasting the courts time with her frivolity.

I wish my sd could have stayed with her because she (even though unhealthy) felt responsible for her mom and it really gave her a lot of stress but the environment was inappropriate for her to be in so the determination was a year later (after hubby got ss) sd came to live with us too - the GAL stayed involved for two years to try and help the children and try to allow sd to remain with her mom - mom continued to be unsafe for the children - I am not going to argue this with you given you have very little idea what all transpired - you want to fight for the bm regardless of how unsafe it was for the children to remain with her - you would rather my stepchildren stayed with her at all costs due to her just being the bm and that is disgusting. You would prefer they were left in an unhealthy environment just to say WE paid a GAL to give the children to us that somehow we played dirty - the bm was all for it and we shared the costs, the fact that we hoped this educated GAL could get through her lies, etc... worked but it very easily could not have - you would have to understand this bm and her continued lies about me and my husband etc...and she convinced herself (tried to convince others) that we were the liars and had issues - it is not our fault she was "found out" I came to the understanding that she actually believed all that she said and thought regardless of truth or fiction. My stepchildrens bm really was not what was best for the children please stop defending her - instead have some compassion and concern for the children. The children are grown adults now so things have been discussed a little and it curls my hair to hear some of what went on that we didn't know about....

You put your children first and keep them safe my stepchildrens bm did not and I do not know if you alienate your children from their father but this bm did and to this day still tries to make the children feel guilty if they want to come here for a holiday instead of her place - she still tries to make them choose - it is more of a you cannot love me if you love your dad and much much more.

Ok we proved that she was ALIENATING the children from my husband I used the term PAS because people are familiar with that term and what it means
