I am going to quit my job soon so I can have a baby and be around more for my daughter. I want to change the schedule to something that works with my new arrangement.
1. Is MY change of situation enough for THEM to justify appealing for a custody change? I know I am justified but are they? Especially since they just made a change last fall.

Your life choices don't justify you asking for a change in custody. If one parent files for a change in custody then it opens up the other parent to counterfile. it doesn't matter that they made the change last fall. They are not initiating a change right now.

Maybe speak to a GAL or court social worker and get ideas of schedules that commonly work. Do not however expect to get 50/50 changed at this point. You just agreed to it by signing the paperwork you signed and again your life choices are not a valid reason for a custody change.
