I was just reading this morning about his life insurance and for me, it seems to open a can of worms. Originally it was set up as a trust with each of their fathers as beneficiaries. Then after Powell's father was arrested, he changed it with no trust and his siblings would become the beneficiaries. Then he changed it shortly before he died so that his brother was the major (93%) beneficiary. His body was barely in the grave before his family was laying claim to the proceeds.

Some things that bother me...according to what I have read, we are supposed to believe that he doused the house with gasoline, yet the social worker her brought the kids over didn't smell gasoline as soon as he opened the door? That in the minutes it took for him to close the door in the social workers's face to when the explosion went off...he supposedly sent out a bunch of emails, chopped at his kids with a hatchet and then lit the gasoline?!?
