We have Ditzie the Beagle. She goes to work everyday with us and sits behind me in the office chair. She just turned 2 and was a rescue pup at 3 months. The customer's love her and she is just a sweet pea. I let her out in the lobby when the kids want to play, never a problem. She likes playing tag with them, quite funny to watch. She will play catch with the ball too. She has only raised her hair to one customer, but hey I don't like him either. She will love, kiss and loves to snuggle, she just loves kids. She follows us everywhere. Say Bye Bye and she is up and ready to go for a ride.
She doesn't chase rabbit's but digs moles and kills them. Barking... the only time she barks, is when she hear's a car in the drive at home...which I like. Now if she is sitting in a chair at the kitchen table and see's a Deer in the field she will Baroooooo, but other than that she is not a Barker at all. Now she does shed and Beagle's do shed, but Ditzie's hair is really short, maybe a 1/2 inch long.
I have had Lab's and Collie's and I just like the small dog for in the house. I don't have to worry about her snatching something off the counter because she is too short.
Just LOVE a BEAGLE, and I have a bumper sticker too. Teehee
