I have an online degree, and honestly, in the IT field, an online degree is respected.

Having DONE an online program, I will say that I think it is HARDER than an onsite class/degree program. First of all you have to have the self discipline to make sure you post to the threads regular, and finish your work on time. There is no set class time, so there is no guarantee that there will be a teacher to remind you to finish your work. Also, there is a LOT more papers to complete. I wrote, on average, 4 term papers per class over an eight week class.
