I'm with you, no way would I send my 16 year old away to college. This is why I would never allow the school to put her up a grade.

By trade school, do you mean a smaller college of a larger university? Like, in Oklahoma, there is Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. But, they have a smaller college in OKC called OSU-OKC. It's not the big university, but all part of the same, even though they each focus on different degrees. There's nothing wrong with either one, especially if credits will transfer.

BTW...I've been thinking about online school for Son, but worry about his self-motivation. How did your kiddo do with that?
