Thanks Aussie, I know that it makes sense, but it just ticks me off that I now have to prove that I am not what he says, and I know that this fight is only just beginning. After the initial shock my head is finally clearing a bit, I can go a solid hour without tears. I found some pictures of our son where my husband had one time "popped" him in his mouth "not hard", but hard enough to swell his little lip. Let me tell you I was furious. I have never ever spanked this little boy, and wouldn't dream of it. My husband also left another mark on the side of his eye. I didn't call the police because I truely thought that these were isolated incidents. My lawyer has the pictures that are dated, and says that it tremendously helps our case. My husband has severe anger issues. I have also been assured that I won't be made to move out of our home since he was the one to leave. I am a stay at home mom with no income. The biggest point for me is that I have been assured access to our child with no supervision, there is truely no need for it. Thanks for listening.
