SSI and divorced spouse benefits

I have a situation here. My aunt is 67 and separated (agreement). She has SSI (mental disability) and live independently with minor help from kids. Separated husband applied for Social Security and now she is asked to come to SSA to get her divorced spouse benefits. He worked only for about 8-9 years in USA and his benefits prob around 600-700$/mo but he still is working. Will she still be qualified for her SSI and Medicaid? Appreciate all inputs.
