Can't Mind My Own Business

I often feel as if DH wants to keep his "other family" separate. I have to bug him to tell me if he hears from SS (lives far away), and if I bring something up about SS or BM he just wants to say the minimum and then changes the subject. I'd like to know what's going on with SS and if DH even hears from him at all. I worry, too, that BM is going to pull something or ask for something and he's going to go along with it and not tell me. So I feel like I'm being "nosey" all of the time. I've tried before to just tell myself to disengage and not care so that I don't have to feel like a pest, but it's hard to. Am I not supposed to give a crap what's going on with SS? Damned if I do and damned if I don't. In the beginning of the relationship I was accused of not caring about him!

Does anyone else feel like this?
