Yeah, I know that I am pretty pathetic to have stayed this long. Dealing with his total control of the money, having to always ask and never getting and his daily allowances.

Like I said, I was really hoping to get to NC in July and divorcing him there, but I just can't wait any longer.

I doubt I will be allowed to move with the kids if I divorce here even though he will end up not seeing them. He sees his son from previous marriage 2-3 times a year. I know that I could never afford to stay here in NY, especially since he never pays his child support for months at a time to ex and with me it will be no different. She at least lives with her mother and has no expenses. I have myself and 4 kids, 1 that is homeschooled and 2 not in school yet.

The other thing is how he is profitting 100% from a business that he runs, yet is not licensed. How do I get the 50% out of an illegal business?

The house isn't worth much since the upstairs was ripped out 6 yrs ago and he never did it over. In the 2 bedrooms downstairs, it is me, him (not anymore, he has the couch), the 1 yo and 4 yo. In the second bedroom is my 9 yo daughter and 8 yo son...I don't even know if this is legal in NY. Some say it is, but I haven't been able to find anything on it.
