Children who are adults when parents divorce

Our son, only child, was 23 and had been out on his own for a couple years when stbx decided he did not want to be married and left.

Anyone out there with a child who was an adult when divorce occured? Care to share anything as to problems, concerns etc. that they kid/s had? I can't seem to find very much info on this, only on minor kids or kids who are now adutls, but were minors when the split occured. Any info or comments will be most appreciated, and thanks in advance.
