The baby's mom called yesterday morning and told my husband he could get the baby for the regular agreed visit. So for the 1st time in 5 weeks my husband got the baby. The diaper rash wasn't real bad. He had a rash on his face and his cradle cap is back. The rash is just from drooling and not bad. My husband was upset about the cradles cap because it was cleared up and now its back. The baby had a sour smell to him so my husband gave him a bath as soon as we got home. He also put creamy baby oil on him 3 times yesterday and sent a bottle home with him. The baby has gained a lot of weight. The mom said he eats a 8 oz bottle every 2 to 3 hours, cereal in the morning, 1 to 2 jars of food in the evening, and cereal in his bottle. He was here from 10am until 8pm. He drank 3 6 oz bottles and ate 1 jar of food. He acted like he didnt want anymore formual after 6 oz. We still think she is overfeeding the baby.
The baby did have a cough and runny nose but he did not have a fever. When he saw my hubby he got a huge smile on his face. My husband was scared that he wouldn't remember him but he seemed to. He also smiled when he saw me and the kids.
The question is why did she call after 5 weeks and say he could finally get the baby? My husband thinks its so she looks good in court. I think she had plans and couldnt get someone to watch the baby. Either way my husband jumped to get the baby and doesn't care about the reason. I'm just wondering if she's up to something and what.
