Child Support amounts Wash DC

Going through a collaborative divorce - today had the estimated support payment for my 2 year old daughter as $1700+ per month. I realize this is a formulated figure based on salary comparison etc. but this was much higher than i had anticipated. The estimated annual figure for childcare in DC came out over $20K and my contribution would be 2/3. My wife will have majority custody while I have every other weekend. I would welcome any comments from other members as to whether this seems ball park. Thanks for reading.
