Another gripe to get it outta my system...

Well I had the kids up til 10:30 last night becuase things were just running behind, my mom called, kids weren't cooperating etc. This morning the stbx picked em up at 7:30, I made the comment that the kids were having "a morning" becuase they had been up late. I didn't mention to him that they ALWAYS get cranky when they know they are going to his house. Well he calls me about 8:15 and says that I better not have them stay up late before they come to his house again. That 10 yr old has a smart mouth and if she doesn't stop he's taking her home or to my work and 2 yd old hasn't stopped whining and he's not "putting up with this sh$t" I wanted to tell him to shut up, be a man, suck it up and deal with it, he's the father. But I didn't, it would have caused more problems for the kids if I put him in a worse mood. He had a period of time where he was being really nice and things were going good, I think it was his way of trying to "win" me back. But now that I've taken papers to the courthouse his true colors are beginning to surface again. He' such a jerk. He doesn't realize or doesn't care how his actions and words affect the kids. My 3 yr old told me the other day that she'd rather stay at my house becuase "daddy yells at me" I said "but mommy yells at you too sometimes" and she says "yeah but i'd rather stay here" I think shes realizing the difference between screaming adn yelling. I raise my voice but he screams. It scares me that the kids have to be with him when he's in these moods but right now there's nothing I can do, I have no proof of his actions so I really don't have a leg to stand on to go for supervised visitation. This really stresses me becuase I can't figure out anything that I can do about it to protect my kids. I know that by the time they come home they are going to be so frazzled and strung out that they are REALLY going to be cranky and by the time I get them calmed down and evened out again it'll be time for them to go BACK to his house. My oldest told me that he pumps them full of JUNK the whole time they are there. NO WONDER THEY DON'T BEHAVE??!?!?!?!? They should have an anti-@-hole innoculation to prevent people from "contracting" this condition LOL
