My quetion is regarding my Police Pension. I live in WI, and my wife is a MRI Tech who actually makes more p/hour than I, but I BURY her with Overtime. We have been married 10 yrs. In that 10 yrs I have: been injured where I could not put $$$ into my 457b, and I have been mobilized 2 since 9-11, which included a 17 month tour in Iraq. She has only been on the job since 2002, but is vested. She thinks she can get 1/2 of my pension and 1/2 of my 457(b). We have no children at all. I do not feel she is entitled to much if any of the 457(b) or my pension. She is quite able enuff to work. I max my 457(b) because I work OT. We are trying to do this pro se or ourselves. If she keeps up with the attitude, I think I should follow thru with an attorney. I have a good one several officers told me about. She seems decent, but let's face facts, she is the only one who will get 'rick'. any advice?
