Trial question

What happens in a trail? I forced a trial because the X wants to prolong the divorce and fight over stuff I do not have. I was willing to give her everything inside our home but she refused. I have been going back and forth to court for about a year and am sick of it. I was told it will be a 2 to 3 hour trial. My question is, will the judge make a decision that point?. Will it be over so I can get on with my life?
