Show up in court or not?

I'm in the last rounds of my divorce process. All I have left to do is sign my property settlement agreement. My lawyer told me that I do not have to show up in court for the final hearing, because my wife was the one who filed for the divorce and she wants her maiden name back.

Here's the thing. I really don't trust my soon to be ex at all. I'm afraid that without me there, she's going to try and pull a fast one with the judge and try to get the judge to give her more, and that because I'm not there I will have automatically agreed to any judgement made.

Should I show up with my lawyer despite what my lawyer says?
