Insurance?

Husband recently filed for divorce. Has own business and private family medical insurance. I had medical emergency and at that time found out he has dropped me from his medical plan. I stopped working at his request when we married 5 years ago. He also dropped my car insurance. Can he legally do that even though we are still legally married?
