Really? This is just a vent, nothing more. I feel like I've banged my head into the wall for a while now and I just need to draft my thoughts and move on.

I have been debating with my gentleman friend for the last 48 hours about gay marriage in California. He is so absolutely disgusted by the notion, he can barely carry on a debate with me on it. Gays totally turn his stomach and that makes me a little sad.

His words in reference to gays and marriage in general, "It's abnormal." "It's not right." "its against God." "I can't stand gays." "They shouldn't have recongnized special rights."

And this? is all coming from a guy who, being biracial, was teased and insulted regularly as a child for his dark skin.

I dunno...I guess I'm too open minded. It doesn't bother me at all. Let them live their lives and I'll live mine. Let God be the judge, not me.

I just don't understand what the big deal is.
