Love and SK's

The other thread got me to thinking…how many of you with SK’s can truly say you love them as your own? I know I can’t. Because I don’t love my SO’s son like my own. My SO says he loves my kids like his own, but I know he just says that because that is what he thinks he should feel. We broke up for a few weeks once and he never tried to make any contact with them at all. So I know he wants to feel that way, but his actions show different.

Also, would you expect the step parent to pay CS for your kids? Would you pay CS for your SK’s? My answer would be a loud NO to both questions.
