Ok currently my ex is in San Diego and I am in PHX. He is military and also has another child who is GF (or Ex-GF or whatever she is currently) is moving to RI as she is also in CG and choose that as her new duty station. Well, my ex is up for new orders and says (I am awaiting confirmation from another source) that there are no orders west of the Great Lakes for him to fill, so he has choosen to take orders near the GF and other child. He put in orders for RI or CT. This is the 2nd time he has choosen to stay near other child and away from our DD.

Now my question is, my DD is 7. Who is going to pay travel expenses? And I dont want her flying across country by herself, is that a battle I can win and force him to pay expenses? I realize that most likely I will lose the battle of her flying across country, but I am hoping that I can make sure that it has to be a non-stop flight and he has to pay all costs. None of this is going to happen until next year, but he wont even discuss it and I dont know what to expect, with him being military?

He has also admitted that he could have gotten orders to El Paso but chose not too and there are ZERO direct flights to CT or RI for her to take. Now what?
