Yes, I realize I did ask for opinions, but it was about something in particular, which I don't even know if it was ever addressed. I didn't not ask for nor did I need to hear that my marriage was doomed because it was my second or for anyone to characterize me personally just from a few sentences on this site. I don't know you and you don't know me, and until anyone of you have walked in my footsteps nobody has the right to put someone down.
I did talk to my lawyer again and he said to stay put, which I will do because I trust the advise of a lawyer. I also got second and third opinions.
I am going to most likely appeal the decision. For one thing, the GAL opinion as to the best interests of the kids was never mentioned in the judge's decision nor was the children's wishes, which they expressed to the GAL. Second, not only did the judge seem biased to several people there, he also said in the transcripts that I have that maybe he was talking just as a biased dad. The transcript of the judge's decision also did not have certain wording, it was just a general denial, which left it wide open for appealing.
I will take this as far as I have to.
