Wants divorce but afraid won't be able to leave FL

I live in Florida... I am not happy in my marriage. I am very lonely and just tired of the fighting and even more the fact that my 4 month old son is being exposed to the verbal fights my husband and I get into. I tell my husband not in front of the baby but he won't stop. I don't want to be todl I can't leave the state and return to my parents in IL if I get a divorce. What are the state rules for Florida?? I have a masters and am physicially and emotionally stable and have always been able to hold down a job. I am a teacher and make 50% what my husband makes.
