Ok, howdy folks. This article has been a long time coming. It was just I needed to find me the words to get it going. Last night, while thumbing through that ol dickshunary I have in the outhouse, I gots stuck on a word. Malevolent. Hmmmmm, I bets ya got one of them yerself, so go git it, and look it up.... now, with no firthir adoo..... here's the meat......
I have been on this board since August of this year. I met some wonderful people. Most of whom I am still in contact with via PMs, emails, and telephone. We all hold the same thought. Why is Eric here? Why does he continually boast about Men's Rights, then show an ugly side, which is his true side, and hurt their cause?
I am all for eqaulity. Equality means.... male or female... who is best for the "job" regardless of gender. With every helpful post that Eric makes, he seasons it with his own bitter attitude towards women. He screams equality, then in the next post, shares stories of why the MAN is the better parent. If a woman on this board would say the same of women, Eric would say "off with her head."
Other male members on this board, for the most part, unless warranted, do not make reference to gender. It is always, "What has the person done to make you feel this way?", "have they hurt the child(ren)?" or tell you what you can do to help yourself. Some of us, I included, share our personal life in order to help others. Do we really know anything about Eric? Nope, he leaves us to our own to figure out what happened with him, and never disputes the assumptions.
I have been to his woman hating FIRMncp (LIMPncp) site, and the anger he spews there speaks for itself. The few men that are there posting (its always the same few men) post nothing but piles and piles of articles, and hardly ever have anything thought provoking to say. One gentleman did say something thought provoking... he signed his post with "Six Inches in Their Faces." That sure provoked my thought. I got the ruler out, and asked my fiance to humor me. I got a full 8 inches out of him, and we giggled at the thought of someone bragging about six. Anyway, as much as Eric is allowed to discredit NOW, and some liz sight that he so lovingly does on a regular basis... with no basis, I think it would be ok to discredit his, although I really dont need to, it does it all on its own. If you go through there, you will find, as I said, pages of copied and pasted articles... with no comments attached. These people may compile information, which is a good thing, a good reference page.... but to claim to be the largest, the best, the whatever, well.... guess what? I have been to NUMEROUS websites of this sort, and they all list links for other mens organizations, all of them are viable, good, and void of hate. Guess who's little MSN site is never included? Yep, you guessed it... Eric's. There was no link, or even mention of FIRM on any of them.
So, tell me, how can he boast? Please, any men reading this, tread lightly, and keep your eyes open to any org. that claims to have all of the answers. (this goes for us women as well) I will post later tonight, the links for the men's websites that look safe. You can decide for yourself from the list, which you could use, or get good info from, without the hatred. Feel free to add any sites that I havent found.
An aside, a while back, Eric informed me, that if my own Father was worth his salt in the Men's Rights Movement, he would KNOW who Eric was..... for those of you who missed it, my Father and his generation WERE the begining of the Fathers Rights Movement. If Eric was worth his salt, he would know who they were. He is takes a blind eye for those who cleared the way for other Fathers.... including himself. These were the men that stood at City Hall until someone came outside to listen to them. They hand delivered letters (written, not copied and pasted) to the government agencies, and MADE them hear them. Hell, my Dad was even tickled to [censored] when Gr8Dad thanked him here, after Eric's tirade about it. So, with that, I will close, and hope that this post helped the men AND women here see what Malevolent is... and see that Eric is nothing but a person who is out for himself, and out to hurt his own cause. If you sift back through his FIRM site, you will see him, on numerous occassions, lash out at women, and even the men that he claims to want to help. He would be happy to see all women lose their children, and happy not because it would be best for them, (you know, he doesnt see "case by case") but what he thinks would be best for his "cause". What he doesnt understand, is that his hatred sets him back about 60 years, and if anyone would ever be asked to stand by him on a public media (TV, Radio), he would stand alone, as he did for the Fathers March in DC, which he blasted his fellow men for making him stand alone, and stutter into the camera.
