my wife whom has been living in a separate dwelling since mid November 2008 as she wants to have some space for her self but not divorce, has decided that she is going to take all of our joint tax return that has been deposited to our joint bank account as of 11:00 pm tonight. She stated that since I owe her for half of the bills from our home that we moved out of & that I did not help her pay for two months and for car repairs to our lincoln in wich I have not given her half of the cost. She is going to deduct it from the taxes also take money for child care expenses for our three children who stay with her and since we are still married not legally separated or in divorce proceedings that I can do nothing about it. Now the tax return was filed joint married and direct deposited into our joint account and we used one address as we had no intention of divorce. My Question: is she correct in her thoughts and can she legally get away with this or can I do something about it?
