Housing Question

I am in NJ. We have been married for a year. He had the house prior to marriage however it was going into foreclosure. I borrowed money from a friend to save it from foreclosure. I have paid all that back. The mortgage got re-written and I paid $6,000.00 into the mortgage as well as thrown in over $3,000.00 into home repairs. He has paid utility bills, but I have, too. He has no proof of paying this mortgage since more than a year before we got married. Due to the economy, the house is mortgaged for more than it is worth so there has been no equity since the marriage. The marriage is over, my choice, for unspeakable reasons. Can he legally kick me out of this house? Is he responsible to pay back any of the monies I have put into this house?
