witnesses in a divorce?
      04/03/09 12:15 PM

My spouse cleaned out our bank accounts. He had someone take the plates off my van. He admitted this to my daughter. I was told it is a felony. My son was borrowing it at the time and when he return to his home my spouse had someone waiting and when my son went in the home they took them. He admitted to people that he was trying to starve me to death. I have went from 126 to 99lbs. After my spouse left me i tried to committ suicide. When he got arrested for DV he told the cop that i didnt know how to take pills right because i was still alive. He wont give me a penny not even for a loaf of bread. I worked 18 out of the 23 years of marriage and fell off a 8ft ladder at work and for the last 2 years i havent worked. Our kids are over 18 but are struggling themselves to survive. I sold everyhting i have and he laughed and said (well u did what u had to do). he knew that I didnt want him here to get his stuff unless a sherriff was present. The next thing i knew he came and that was the day he got arrested. After he got bailed out he came right back here and ripped the plates off my daughters car. at court for the Dv pretrial his girlfriend got kicked out cause she got caught trying to intimidate me. Now in the divorce papers he wants me to pay for everything and he has a home that is free and clear. His parents bought a cabin and boat that was to be ours but the boat ins. is in our name and the cabin i think in his parents name still. He has  40000 that was left to him from his aunt that i found out that he got and never told me about.  Now he is trying to take my home away because he knows i cant give him the equity in it. So he has everything.   The lawyer I had dropped me because he wont get involved with DV. So now I got an appt. with another. I just need to know can I bring in people to testify of what he has said. We were doing a dissolution but he kept putting in things like our kids property and his moms things that she gave me 20 years ago. It got so ridiculous. We would agree then he would change his mind. When he got arrested for Dv he filed divorce.  I just want to make sure the judge knows what he has and is doing.  Please anyone know if I can have witnesses. Now he is trying to blackmail me. He said if i didnt sign the dissolution papers he wont give money. Course I didnt sign them. Now he says if i dont drop the temporary restraining order he wont give me money. He told this to my daughter also.  When do i get any rights. Thank You
