Debt

My husband and I had outstanding debts, we also have six kids (married for 11 years). I worked hard like a fool to keep most of it in my name..kids doctor bills, utilities, etc. and repair his credit. He is now scot free of outstanding debts but me on the other hand will have it on my credit for another 4 years (per credit reports). People say when you are married you share the debt...this is a false hood. We or I should say my husband bought a house in January, it is solely in his name but the utilities are in mine. We are facing divorce now (it was coming even when we were out house shopping), I thought things would get better once we had a new house. I thought he would also try to relocate (job) but has not made a single attempt. We have been living apart for almost two years now and it is time to end the misery. Of course the creditors will not take any of this into account so what do I do? Once we finalize everything I have nothing, I won't be able to get anything either. With having six kids under the age of ten things are bound to come up.
