Need advice
      07/23/09 09:12 AM

If your husband told you last night in general speaking that he would not raise our grandchild and would turn the child over to the state to raise, because the state had taken the child out of the home due to parents not being parents what would your reaction be? My husbands statement was he raised his kids and he had things in life to do, (now mind you this is your grandchild of 6 years old) and he would not raise another child due to making it easier on the parents who had the child. I am torn that my husband would make such a comment, and I worry about the future of our kids if something should happen to their parents. The written story above is true for my ex-husband his wifes son and wife will not take care of their child and ex-husband and wife are turning child over to the state this week or next. I said I could not do it, but well you can read my husbands response above and between us we have 7 kids him 4 and me 3. Four kids which are grown two have g-kids. I just would like to know if I'm wrong for feeling mad at my husband.
