After Emancipation in -Due Refund on OverPaid C/S

After faithfully paying an exhorbitant amount of C/S for 17 yrs, then C/S + College costs for 2 kids, they are finally emancipated. Money was deducted from my paycheck and then when I was laid off, taken from my unemployment (which I'm still on). I have never missed a payment. NJ Probation took out too much over the last two years, here and there, which I calculate to now be about $1800. I've faxed them the court order declaring emancipation, but they continued to take out money. They just finally stopped sending it to the ex, but they are still taking out the money. My account is so screwed up. They did an audit but it's inaccurate because they only use their own records, which are wrong. When you visit Probation in Piscataway, you can only see your case worker, the manager refused to come out unless you have already put in a writtn request. Even then, he is always "in a meeting" and you can't talk to him. I bring all my backup information, even bring my own calculator (they never have one!!!). I've called the hotline, spoke to an ombudsman - nothing has helped. In the meantime, the ex I'm sure has already spent the money. Before I can send her a letter asking for repayment, I need an "official gold seal stamp" on a letter verifying the overpayment amount from NJ Probation to send to her. Probation accounting has given me a "gold seal letter" but the amount stated is only $250. I am going around in circles with all the phone calls and letters and visits. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM & HOW DID YOU SOLVE IT? Thanks!
