My wife is having a true midlife crisis. She never once said she was unhappy, and we never had any sort of marital stress whatsoever. We are best friends, quite compatible, and have 2 great children. She hasn't worked in over 6 years (her choice), and out of nowhere now wants a divorce and claims she has been miserable for years. She told no one. I discovered almost immediately that she is having an online emotional affair with someone she met on the internet, and lives in another country. They have never actually met, but claim to be in love with him and not me. She has been in therapy for 5 months but still wants to be divorced, yet still confused, torn and lost. I love her more than anything. Should I buy time while she continues therapy and gets a job?
