I so agree with you in that it is best to just let go. Plus if there is ever any hope for anyone getting back with their ex or stopping their divorce they must not chase. The more you chase they more they run and they run fast. If you start to move on with your life and fill your new life with hobbies, family and friends, you will find that it not only makes you stronger and healthier quicker but in the eyes of your ex it makes them realize what they are missing. I did this with a guy that I dated for several years and then one day he said he didn't love me anymore so I decided to just move on (as hard as it was) but it was the best thing because then he came running back to me, but by the time he did, I realized that I was better off without him. I deserved a guy who will love me all the time. Also another word of advise, is eventually you will get past your ex and things will get better and remember you are not alone.
