Is Mil Ret Pay part of alimony pool?

If my STBX gets her fair share of my retirement, does she get a second bite at my retirement via the Virginia state alimony guidlines which factor in 28% of the alimony payors income? Can my share of the retirement check be kept out of the alimony pool, so she will only get her share, and not also a 28% cut of my share. Some one tell me please!
