ex was activated, need advice on CS modification

Hi, thanks to those reading my post!

I found out through DFAS.mil that my ex who is in the Army National Guard was activated back in Sept.
I filed a motion for child support modification in my court and am waiting for them to send me the summons that I would have to serve upon my ex.

Now, I called the military garnishment office and they told me to simply ask the court to issue the order for modification to the garnishment office directly. That's great and I can even fax the order but my question is should I still send the summons to his home unit? I don't know if he has been deployed anywhere, I called the local JAG office and they said they cannot give out that information and I contacted the worldwide locator service and they said the same thing because we are considered in a "war time".
I've contacted my ex through facebook and asked if he was activated and of course he tells me no but then he stated he would be recieving orders in 2014 and yet I can use the Tricare health ins for our child until 2011. (This answer made no sense to me so I told him I cannot get on base without a copy of his active orders in order to use the medical facility. He hasn't responded yet!!! And I don't think he will!!!
According to the Md cs guidelines, with his active pay and increased BAH, my CS will triple, which would be a great help!
