Help! My ex is out of control, i need advice ASAP!

I'm a resident of california, riverside county specifically and I have been filing everything myself. I'm not sure what my next steps should be or If I should get a lawyer involved.

My story: marriage turned my husband into a monster. Needless to say I got out, however it has been hell. He stalks me, I've had to have him arrested, restraining orders and all. Ever since I put him in jail for the night he has stopped paying the house payment and other accounts we have together. He makes more than enough but is now damaging my perfect credit on purpose. He originally agreed to pay what he owes and keep the house. I left everything to him including my precious dog just to get out.

What can I do to save my credit, get my name off the house and preserve my sanity? The divorce is still not final. Please help!
