Forgot to mention...& this is a diff. subject. ??

2 days before the papers arrived that I mentioned in the previous post, stbx called me & asked me if his mother(lives in MD) could p/u the children & take them to GA to visit him? As I said, the papers hadn't arrived yet, so I hadn't yet built up an attitude problem...ha! I told him that their vacation time off school was only a week long & asked if his mother was willing to do all that travelling(10 hours one way & 10 hours back...a tough, boring ride..I should know!). He said that he thought so cuz she was the one that asked him to ask me. Why she didn't ask me I don't know...but anyway, not important). There's a question in here somewhere.....What is the likelihood that this divorce will go to court before mid-April?...yes the April coming up. I ask this because if I have nothing signed by a judge about custody, what would stop stbx from attempting to keep the children once they arrived there? MIL has told me that I should have no fear of that...but it's not her that I fear that situation, but her son is another story. What should I do if our case hasn't gone to court before the children's spring vacation? Do I have a leg to stand on to say no to his request? Would it look like I was trying to keep the children from him...which has never been my intention? I just want to know what my rights are.
