Starting the divorce

ok im new here , so bare with me. in a nut shell my soon to be ex and myself have a special needs child, i lost my job of over 12 years to stay with him in a time of crisis. a parent needs to be available at all times due to school issues where he gets sent home (3 times in 8 weeks) im stuck on unemployment, I have no income other than that, I used to make a comfortable living, she is still working and has better benefits than i did (1 of the reasons that made me a better choice to stay home) i had been the one to stay with my child during his crisis time. Now that she is seeking an attourney consultation ater she stated we would do a mediation, im kind of lost, i dont have the ability to hire a lawyer, or even find a place of my own. I guess what im asking here in NJ will she have to pay support for me to live and possibly my atty costs if this does go through court rather than mediation.
