ex says im being controlling, what do you think?

hi,
so My ex voluntarily signed a court order prohibiting the man she is seeing, whom I believe is living with her, from having any contact with our children. She had broken up with him at the time because from what she told me at the time, he got drunk and hit her with a belt and choked her, with her daughter from a previous relationship in the house.
Now she is back with him, and she says he was trying to initiate rough sex with her.

So this man has a criminal history of unarmed robbery (a violent crime disinguished from mere larceny by the use of force and intimidation), has 3 felony cocaine convictions spanning 10 years, the most recent being a year ago, and is currently awaiting a trial for domestic violence and felonious assault from an incident this past march where he is alleged of threatening his then live in girlfriend with a butcher knife after throwing object at her and picking her up and shaking her and throwing her on the ground. He originally plead guilty to this but then withdrew his guilty plea at the sentencing.

So my ex is willingly signing custody of the kids to me, in fact I have had custody of them for a month now, she has only seen then 3 times. We are going to court to finalize the divorce next week and she is begging me to lift the restraining order on her boyfriend. She says I am being controlling and trying to punish her and not letting her move on with her life.

I feel I am acting in the right, but what do you people think on this issue?
