Is wife entitled to a share of the property?

I purchased a home in California in 2008 about 4 months before we got married. I solely used my own funds for the purchase and took title as a single man. About 6 months after we got married my wife insisted I place her on title, which I did. We are now in the midst of a divorce and I want to know if she has any right to the property. As far as equity, I paid $600K for it and it is now only worth about $425K with $403K owed on the mortgage. I want to stay in the property, but want to know if I need to buy her out or not??
