So sad for my friend :(

He and his wife have been going through a rough patch for the past few months. His wife has decided to take their kids out of the province to her family's for Christmas...without him. He has to work (except Christmas day) The kids are sad, and he is devastated. I don't know all their relatiionship details, ut this just seems unfair. Take the kids the day after Christmas...but to do this just seems cold hearted. It looks like divorce may be next...and its not what he wants at all. So sad, this just breaks my heart :(
