Hi, This is my first time posting. I live in the state of Maryland. In August 2005, I filed for limited divorce from my husband. During that process, my 16 year old son and I had to move out because my husband would not move. I also had the option to sell the house, which was in my name only, (the house was purchase during the marriage) or give him half of the equity. So I had to refinance the house to give him half of the equity. About a month before we were to go to court to sign the final divorce papers my husband had a change of heart and wanted to reconcile, so we did. That was the worst mistake of my life becasue nothing has changed. In saying that, I am ready to divorce him for good. I need to know can I sell the house (it is my name only)? Is he able to receive additional funds from the same house? Can I just walk out and let the house go into foreclose? HELP!!
