Will living with friend in his house hurt parenting time?

I am in the middle of a divorce and am currently living with another couple (after stbx pulled the classic order of protection scam, but that's a story for my therapist). The couple I'm staying with lives in a good-sized 4 bedroom home with their only remaining child and I have just been staying as a guest in one of the available bedrooms. I have also been regularly having my children come stay the night with me in their home.

I am worried that as parenting time negotiations begin that not having my own place will hurt me. Is this true? I can't possibly afford to rent a new place and continue to pay my mortgage and I really don't want to have any negative impact on my credit as a result of the financial burden. However, having full shared custody of the kids is the most important thing and if that means I need to figure out how to get into my own place, then that is what I will do.

Thanks,
JM

Unless your friends are convicted felons, it shouldn't present any problem.
