My husband and I did a noncontested divorce ourselves. We've both signed and he's told me he's filed the paperwork, but recently made a comment that makes me question if he really has. How long does it take after we file to get a court date? Am I able to just call the courthouse and confirm the papers are filed, if there is a court date and if so when?

I just went through the noncontested divorce. All we had to do is sign it then you have to take it to the judge and have them sign it. The judge only signs them Mon-Wed and Thursday between certin times. You can go to the OSCN web sight and type in his or your name and it will bring all the info up.
