I live in Dakota County and am looking for a pro bono or low bono lawyer or legal services for divorce. I am very low income and would probably fall below the 125% poverty level. My husband served divorce papers last week and I am most worried about custody. I have been in contact with the Legal Assistance of Dakota County, but wanted to see if anyone had experience with other services/lawyers. Any recommendation you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Nobody works for free. Pro bono lawyers are especially about non-existent for divorce related issues.

Legal Aid Services are non-profit organizations that take cases at no fee or low fee. In Dakota County try Southern Minnesota Regionals Legal Services (SMRLS). smrls.org/
