So, the judge is your spouse's cousin, or he/she knows and hates you or your attorney. How the marital assets are divided is soley up to the judge. File an appeal? Save your money. The Michigan Appeals Court only has the right to point out laws that the judge ignored or broke when deciding your case. They can't punish him. They are a guard dog with no teeth. The judge might give you a little more of the assets because you need to pay the attorney for the appeal, but he doesn't have to. Complain to the Supreme Court because you were slandered or had your civil rights denied...once again, the courts can not get involved in "what is essentially up to the presiding judge". Get it? Grievances against attorneys with the Attorndy Grievance Commission, and those filed with Judicial Tenure against the judge will get you a form letter. It says that they can't find anything that either of them did wrong. Same thing with the Supreme Court. There is no democracy in the Judicial branch of our government, because no other branch- or the people, can force them to do anything. They are an Oligarchy (rule by the few). Everthing goes in a circle. You can file a malpractice law suit against the attorney that allowed you to be abused- without defending you, but guess who decides your case---the same judge you complained about. The ACLU and Civil Rights branch in Michigan will not be able to help you..remember, they have attorneys working for them. (Watch whose toes you step on, and for Heaven's Sake, don't do anything to bring bad attention to your fellow union members?. This powerful union reaches from the Supreme Court down to your local sheriff's deputies. Everyone covers everyone elses mistakes, or will certainly not find fault. And that's the way it is here in beautiful Michigan.
